June 12th is a quilt show at the High School Gymnasium in Cabool, MO. Also a great quilt shop in Cabool and we intend to try out the Mexican food across the street :thumbup:

Wish I could be there. I grew up in Mountain Grove. I haven't tried to travel that far yet. That is 5 hours from Mississippi.

I live near Cabool, great quilt shop and the Mexican restaurant is very good.

How exciting - just heard about this - will be making the 1.5 hour trek up there early in the morning - can't wait!

Hey, Thanks for posting. I will try to make it! There is also a quilt show on June 12 and 13th in Stockton, Mo. I read a poster that said it is at the Expo Center on Lake Road RA (?), but I don't know where the Expo Center is and I don't know if I remember the lake road number/lettering correctly. Can anyone on this forum help?

The Calico Clippers Quilt Guild presents the Colors of Stockton. June 12-13, 2010 9am - 3pm at the Expo Center on RB Road in Stockton. Admission $3.

I copied this off of the Stockton Lake website. If you use Google maps, it's on the south side of Stockton, take 39 Hwy south, and you will see RB hwy.

Bluebird, thank you for posting the picture of the quilts!!! Fuel pump went out on my car and I didn't get to go. (tears in my eyes) Yes, I'm pouting. I really wanted to go the Cabool show and the Stockton show - now I'll miss both of them. But I can enjoy the picture!
