I used to live in Itasca, Texas and I have been in several of the stores you mentioned. I am not sorry to be away from the humidity but, I do miss alot of things in Texas and your shop hop reminded me of the most important! I must say, though, there are some great shops here in Idaho, too!

JT quilts, you have cooler weather there too. Luckily we dont' get the humidty much here unless it rains, and who knows when theat will happen. LOL.

NO kidding. I wanted to buy all they had but I know Las Crucis is having their retreat this weekend and they go there to buy it so left them the last 20 or so. LOL . And Joanieu wants to go there once a month so we can get it then. This Gibson's is actually in a Ace HArdware store in Weatherford. It's fun to shop there too. Old fashioned and the manager's "office" is still one that you can see them standing in there in an elevated room. SO cute.They can talk to you and look over the store. Remember, they keep it in the laundry section with the regular starches. I suggested they put some in quilting too.

OMG! I always stop by Gibson's on the way to my MIL's and sometimes Peachtree but did not know about the other. I'll have to look up address. I spent a few years in Weatherford as a kid.
