Vermont Shop Hop 2013
 

I anyone doing the VT shop hop this year? I am only doing the three shops in the south, but would love to hear if there is anything really special at specific other areas to justify the travel. Of course it's always fun, but they are quite a way apart.

Hubby and I doing the hop this year. We have done all of them. I live in the middle of the state. We have done all the southern ones and most of the middle. Have to do Montpelier and all the northern ones. I was pleasantly surprised by the one in Stowe. They have moved to a shop that is around the corner from where they were. We got $5 off right away. I bought a darling handmade dress for an 18 inch doll and we were given the pattern for a checkerboard. They were extremely friendly and nice. You could come from Chester up route 100 to Londonderry. Nice store with emphasis on modern quilts and material. We hope to go again tomorrow and finish up. Rest of the week is supposed to be nasty. Have fun!

Myself and 3 other friends did the whole shop hop on Saturday and Sunday, We started Saturday at 9 am in Newport at Countryside Fabrics spent the night at the Ascutney resort in and finished on Sunday at Yankee Pride in Essex Junction at 3:30pm.. as always we had a blast

Please tell me more about a shop hop. In FLA now but heading home, NH, the first of May. We have two sons in E Burke VT.
