The Ladybug Quilt Guild of Newark, DE, and others in the area are having the 2017 Diamond State Quilt Show at the Singerly Fire Hall, 300 Newark Avenue, Elkton, Md. 21921 this Thursday thru Sat. (Aug. 10 - 12) from 10 to 5 each day. I was there helping to set up the "Second Time Around" booth and I could not believe what all was donated for just this booth. Patterns and books galore, quilting fabrics and complete kits, rulers, mats, boxes, etc. The booth next to us is the Boutique and that is full, some of the prettiest completed quilts, pin cushions, everything you could think of. In the main hall are the beautiful quilts, vendors, baskets of goodies including one with fat quarters in, and of course food made by the Fire Hall auxiliary. I have to take lots of money, haha. As usual. $10.00 to enter, and you can come back all 3 days for that price. There is an exit off I95, the same one used for the University of Delaware. It will be a fun show, free demos going on all the time. So if you are in the area, please come and check it out. We are about an hour from Lancaster, Philadelphia, New Jersey and Baltimore.
