Hello

Is anyone near Iron Wood MI???? They are having a quilt show on the 18th of Sept. I plan on going and was wondering if anyone else would be there........ would be nice to meet there.

Yes, Ironwood is on the far western edge of the U.P. across the WI State line is Hurley, WI.

I'm in Iron Mountain, also bordering WI, about 100 miles due north of Green Bay -- Packer Country :-)

Grinster, I think Lake Superior is fascinating. Did you know there is a web page camera for Duluth? Hubby watches that regularly and also watches the traffic at the Soo Locks. We hope to attend the open house at the locks on the last Friday of June, 2011. Personally, I enjoy Marquette for the harbor, docks, college, and events. I graduated from Northern a few decades ago and snow does not faze me. Hubby, on the other hand, lived too many years in temperate climates and hates to go north in winter:-)
