Hi!!

I'm at a workshop in Shepherdstown WV today, and heading home via I68 through Maryland tomorrow.

On the way here, I googled a few shops to try to make my trip a little more interesting and to give myself a personal shop-hop.

I struck out on the two shops I found - one only sold machines, the other one was closed (like out of business).

Do you live in Shepherdstown? Along I68 in Maryland? Where do you shop? I'm going to try again for my drive home.

Thanks again everyone -- this board rocks!!!

Sorry, I do not know of any. Was at the only shop in Annapolis, MD a few weeks back. It is in the old part of town. Shop is nice, help was lousy. Great selection of fabric and patterns though.
Good luck and stay safe.

If you are near Montgomery County, Maryland, Capital Quilts in Gaithersburg, MD, is wonderful -- great selection, superb and friendly staff.

I have no idea where Montgomery county is -- On my way out there, I wound up in Backwoods WV and got super turned around in my head.

I did end up going to shops in Morgantown WV and Fairmont WV while I was coming home though...

Look at my goodies!!

I'm from the northern panhandle of WV, so unfamiliar with any shops around Shepherdstown. But I was just at Sew Chic yesterday, and have also shopped at The Sew Inn. My son went to WVU and still lives in Morgantown, so I hit the shops whenever I visit him. Looks like you had some luck.

I wish I could have got to you sooner. There is a great little shop in Grantsville, MD. Turn right and a few blocks down on the right is the old school house, it is in there. Also a second hand store and other shops. I do not know of any shops in Cumberland nor Hancock. Two shops in Hagerstown not far out of your way. The one is the White Swan and the other is Wilsons.
