Hi - I am interested in joining a quilt group. I'm in Lake Grove. I am slightly restricted, though, as I have a 3 year old son. Depending on get together times and whatnot I may be able to work something out.

I would definitely be interested in hearing more details about the group. I have considered joining one of the guilds but I'm not sure that I can meet all of the requirements necessary. I look forward to hearing more about the group.

This afternoon I had to go to my LQS in Islip. I spoke with the owner, Linda, and told her about this topic. She said if the group forms we can use her store to meet in and use the classroom at NO CHARGE. If you are interested post here and I will give you the days and times that are available.

Linda said any weekday between 1:30 PM and 6:00 PM, or Sundays between 12:00 and 4:00 PM. Sounds good, don't you think. Again, my routine is pretty flexible. What do you think?

Linda said evenings were not good because there would not be enough employees in the store.

That is great that Linda has offered to let us meet at the store. It seems like I'm there all the time anyway! :)Sunday afternoons work the best for me.
