Default quilt show in pa

Hi.. anyone out there taking the class ( Hopes diamonds) by Sue Pellon on Sept 14th @ the Mancuso quilt show in Pa? I'm also taking the hand quilting class ( That Perfect Stitch ) by Dierdra McElroy on Sept 15th. I'm from Long Island NY, It would be nice to know anyone else going.

I won't be going to the show because it is our guild's quilt retreat in Lancaster. But - I have taken a class with Dierdra McElroy and loved it. It definitely changed how I hand quilt and my stitches are definitely much smaller than before the class. Have fun!!!

I took the Deirdre McElroy class in PA several years ago. I really enjoyed the book and the video. The nice think about doing it with the book and/or video is that you can review things and go over it time and again. They've packed a lot of info into the book/video.

I've gone many times to the Mancuso shows and like them very much. I've taken the class with Dierdra (That Perfect Stitch) and also have the book. Enjoyed her class very much and it was both new and refresher information for me. I began quilting in the late 1980's and began learning by hand piecing and hand quilting.
Her work is beautiful and I also took her Taihitian applique class. Enjoyed that too.

I will be attending a lecture Fri 9/14 New Ways to Get Quilting Stuff Done by Robbi Joy Eklow, playing Quilt O Bing that evening, then taking Sue Nickles class Machine Quilting Essentials. Can't wait, I go to this show ever year and just love it.
