Default THANK YOU to Quilters who made Quilts of Valor Quilts for Veterans

A BIG thank you to those of you who came to West Portland UMC, Oregon, and sewed and quilted the Quilts of Valor quilts for the veterans. There will be a public presentation ceremony in Gresham, Oregon, April 5th to present the quilts and say "Thankyou" to Veterans for their service.

Last couple weeks on our PBS was a 2 hour show on QUILTS OF VALOR. It was great. Went through half box of tissues.

Hi Lady Elisabeth, sorry I wasn't able to participate in your sew-in for the quilts of valor and will be out of town when you tape the presentation program! Some day I will have a spot in my schedule and will return.

My 9 year old granddaughter is making a Quilt of Valor this week during Spring Break. She will get to go to be part of the April 5th presentation. I am very proud of her.
