I rarely go by myself. DD is also a quilter and we usually go together. She and I work well together though I'm more drawn to bright, bold colors and designs. If something catches our eye, we stop to look. Otherwise, we just glance at things. I hated shopping with my mother. She had to stop and closely examine everything! I took us forever.

I asked a non-quilting friend to go to the Chicago Quilt many years ago. She was very surprised - expected only traditional quilts and also the workmanship blew her away. On the way home she asked if we were going again - we have gone to Chicago & Cincinnati.
