Under Our Wings Quilts of Valor with Marianne Fons
Attended a wonderful presentation with Marianne Fons and June Moore in Portland, Oregon. They were discussing the Under Our Wings part of Quilts of Valor, making quilts for USA Veterans. There are so many ways we quilters can be involved. Under Our Wings take rookies who have never quilted and pair them with a quilter and they make blocks for quilts for the Veterans. Very inspiring.
