Great job. Your curves are so smooth! The swirls definitely add interest.

Nancy, I didn't really have a pattern.... I've been experimenting with various cubes/tumbling blocks out of my "One Block Wonder Encore" book and a couple of different web tutorials, and started out with other hollow cube shapes along with the ones I used here, but took them out and set them aside for another project, so stay tuned for more experimental pieces.

The neat thing about experimenting with the cubes is that I'd plan a block and sew together a strip set for it; then when I cut the wedges, the "leftover" wedges make a totally different and very interesting block. That's how I ended up with those single cubes that are kind of floating on the edges. The whole process was really fun!
