You are already a winner, and just don't recognize it. Ask your father it's special.

In my opinion, it's just gorgeous. How could you not enter this in a contest!?

It is beautiful, thanks for sharing. By the way, should you not win, it doesn't mean that your quilt isn't worth a ribbon. Just some people have different views and opinions.

Be of good cheer and by a frame for the ribbon that is to come!

I love that one. It's on my bucket list. Put it in the fair to show it off, people will love to see it. So what if you don't get a ribbon, is that why you made it?? (PS You prob will though, it's wonderful)

I have done it. there is usually a critique by the judge/s. It will tell you what was done well, what they liked, what could be improved. I find it very helpful.
Your quilt looks marvelous. Think of it as a good learning experience.

I enter quilts in the county fair just because I like showing them off :D My DD won 2 blue ribbons this year & several years ago she won "Best of Show". She'd made a baby quilt for new niece. Her SIL entered it in fair without DD's knowledge. She was very excited when she found out about it.
