Working on a new quilt project, I cut 4 key triangle components the wrong way. Oh noooo! Then I wondered what else I could do with my fabric units.

I created two table toppers with alternate color schemes. They are about 27" long.

Then, still in a curious mode, I laid them out end to end. (not sewn together yet). Well, that is interesting!

Don't know exactly what I'll do with this yet, but it was a good distraction while I came to terms with the fact I couldn't continue with the original pattern because of my mistake. Not enough fabric left to start over.

I think I will figure out some way to supplement the sides of the long runner. Any ideas?

How unusual - now you need to market it, and make enough cash to buy replacement fabric for your original project!

Why do you feel the need to add/change what you already have? It's nice as it is.

And ditto .... please show us what's on that design wall!

Oops! Didn't mean to reveal that one yet because I had thought about entering it into the board's kaleidoscope quilt contest next month. But I know that I won't be able to finish it on time. I'll take pictures later- have to get to work now.

I like table runners to hang over the edge. I would just quilt it up as it is and bind it.

Great table runner and think you have an original. No one has one like it.
