Check out Judy Martin's Log Cabin book, she show a gazillion ways of setting them together. Very informative. I was lucky enough to get to go to one of her trunk shows last weekend at Threads of Time fabric store in Danville Il. She was hilarious.

Gorgeous block! Good luck in finding enough "old" fabric to be able to make all your blocks! You may have to change to reproductions. It'll be very nice when completed and I can't wait to see more pics.
