Default 10,000 piece Tina Fey mini quilt

    Hello all, I am back!

You may remember my first quilt, the one of Tom Hiddleston

I have finished a new quilt top, this time a smaller quilt of Tina Fey rendered in 1/2" diamonds.

This is a non-standard size mini-quilt (it measures roughly 35"x35" after cutting the excess off)

Tina was made entirely from my leftover fabric used for Tom's portrait quilt. I started her in early march and am hand-quilting her now.

So amazing. So I clicked on the link of your other quilt and read all 11 pages! Can you tell us how it turned out and where it is now?

It is, well, sitting in a suitcase downstairs unfinished at the moment.

Part of the reason I built Tina Fey is because I could not find a longarm quilter (or any quilter) willing to go near my quilt. So I built a smaller secondary quilt to experiment (either on my own, but I don't have a proper quilting machine)
or to find a long-arm quilter who is willing to experiment and work with with my style of pieceing, which is ultra-small squares.

So... Tom is on hold for now until I can find someone willing to take on such a project (and I hope it won't break the bank since I am only a student)
