What a good job can't wait for my girls to sew. My five year old GD showed me jelly rolls at Joann's maybe a quilter

Kudos to her! She did a great job and a handmade gift always outweighs a store-bought one. Her friend will really love it and her for making it. Thanks for sharing.

Yes I agree. She did a wonderful job. She quilts better than I do! I am forty something and have just started quilting myself. So you go girl.

What an awesome job! I love the creative way she did the FMQ! It's very artistic. She's a beautiful girl with a big heart to do this for her friend!

Wonderful quilt and a wonderful story! She looks so proud! I love that you forgot about the selvedges and she had to learn to how make lemonade out of lemons! Not only learned how to do applique, but how to look a problem and find a solution.

what a wonderful grandma you are to help and supervise her learning. she will remember this for the rest of her life. i know i remember things my grandma taught me when i was that age. bless you. thx for sharing.

wow! incredible! i wish my niece had a love for fabric, it would be fun to have someone to play with! it looks beautiful and you must be so proud!
