Default #13 Quilt by -----------Jingle

This a quilt to use up some fabric I have had for several years. It is the dark teal floral. I had two pieces, I have some of this piece left and another piece. I didn't have any colors to really go with it. I just picked out some I thought looked good with it. 1. is it --2. is a little closer --- 3. is a close up.
Thanks for looking.

Great looking quilt! I love how the tiny little yellow squares pop right off the surface.

Your choice of the yellow took all the focus off the focus fabric, and brought it right to the yellow - great effect. I have lots of florals (80's!) that I need to do this sort of thing with to use some of those up...thanks for the idea! Great quilt!

Sometimes having to use what we have on hand leads to some unusual but interesting results. Your pink fabric would not have been a colour that I would have thought to use with your focus fabric but it looks good and it works. I think often quilters worry too much about matching and it often isn't necessary.
