I am so glad you picked it up agaiu. The colors are so soft, and I like that way you kept the background relatively plain because you notice the flowers more.

Both!! It is a double irish chain in the middle, but I ended the pattern at a different place than what most patterns have you do. The applique, I designed as I went, I usually just eyeball the placement of my applique, I don't make a placement pattern. The corners, I hadn't planned, I just figured it out when I got to them.
Thank you for taking the time to tell me how you did this, i is appreciated. I do love the way your applique just looks as if you spent hours placing it.
