Beautiful quilt. And you did it together. What fun. One of the best times I ever had with my daughter, was when a winter storm came thru and her electricity was off for 12 days. She came and stayed with me, and we spent it in my sewing room, and I taught her to make a quilt. It was wonderful and I will never forget it, we talk about it all the time.

What a lovely story! Your quilt is very pretty. So nice you have another quilter in the family now.

this is so fabulous and what I want for Christmas!
gonna start soon to sew my scraps together...doubt it will be that big, but I like the simplicity of 3.5 inch pieces.
thanks for the idea!
