Just having the basket is a treasure in itself. I was lucky that my aunt just kept the box.

Also, what a wonderful saying - thank you for sharing that!! I may have to embroider that and put it over the serger and box!!

It is just lovely! and a treasure to keep. I see some thread in that drawer that I still have! Belding Corticelli silk thread on those small wood spools etc., C&Clark labels on some, etc. I have a few spools that were .15 cents or .25 cents. It is interesting now to see that we pay over $2.00 for a spool of Mettler or Gutterman.

Whenever my friends and I are out "antiquing" we are always on the lookout for sewing treasures in good condition. Thanks for posting your pictures!
