Thank you all for taking the time to look. I didn't think I'd ever get all the pieces cut for this lap quilt! DH does indeed have a good eye for color which allows me to tease him for being all "artsy fartsy" and he accepts with good humor. DH accompanied me to the 2012 Houston Intn'l Quilt Festival but I sent him on a mission to find some machine embroidery supplies (while I checked out the long arms - shhhhhhhh).

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE This quilt! I am a native New-Mexican, and DH says the Southwest is in my blood. I truly love this-it's gorgeous! You did an awesome job.
