Yeah I thought about it seriously, but the jewel box quilt I just finished was black and my Mom bought me a diamond quilt kit for my birthday and it's black. So, I thought I better change out colors.

Hi, Your block is really nice, and wow, a great job, being the first one too... I have been thinking about getting this book, but I am afraid it will be hard for me... I always tend to do the easier stuff... want to try something different too. My question, do you have to use a lot of different templates for these blocks? I don't have any, ( only a tiny one I got from Rhonda) so never used them? Did you print out the e-book? I have never used one of them before either? Thanks for your impute... :) Marcine
