Default 2 T-shirt Quilts

Hey Y'all,
Just finished these to memorial quilts - using my brother's favorite shirts & jeans. I'll give them to my niece & nephew when I see them during Thanksgiving.

The dark blue 'shadows' are made from strips of his jeans. And I used the back pockets for the label.

Bittersweet project. While I was happy to make them, David's passing still makes my heart ache. He was only 59. I'm hoping they bring some comfort to my niece & nephew, as well his his 2 little grandsons who are too young to truly remember him. Hug your loved ones close - we never know how long we have on this earth.

God bless you,
Donna Mc

Great job. Had to have been a great guy--he was a George Strait fan!

So very sorry for the loss of your brother. It was a kind thing you did by making the memorial quilts for your niece & nephew. They will cherish the quilts & have lasting memories of him because of what you did for them. The quilts are beautiful & so well made. Love the pocket for the label.
