Guess I didn't measure Kelly's center, I just put my border on it so I could break the pattern. Sorry it's giving you troubles. Thought I put the right size border on but if I didn't, please let me know.

Jaba you did just fine - please don't worry.
I am the one who planned a border and then realized that I was off in my measurements. Duh!

Didn't mean to give you that impression - sorry about that.
The good news - I figured out how to fix it!!!!! Now to get it cut and sewn.

it goes nicely with the center. question if everyone adds a border that big these quilts could become huge in no time.. I forgot but if quilt is set on point then added too does that lose one extra border then? I am a moron sometimes when it comes to remember what rules go to what swap. Don't get me wrong it is perfect for the block but how big will it get in the end? and also do you want all batiks on that center? or is regular fabric going to work with it too? I messed up a while back and used both and got a waffle look to the edge ..wavy? help you quilt experts before I do the wrong thing!!!

Sorry took me so long to respond but was out with mom all day. We did the measuring and math and if you ladies put just a four and half inch border it will actually make it 3in smaller than if it was on point. No you don't have to use all batiks. It is 37" square right now and would end up being 69" if everyone did a 4 inch border (finished)

Thanks for the info Melinda, was mainly wondering about the batiks, etc. The pic just made it look so big I didn't know if she wanted those same size borders or not.
