Default 2020 bom

Finishing this one was bittersweet. My "go to" LQS, the one which I have been participating in the Saturday Sampler/BOM for the last 6 years had become a casualty of COVID19. I am so sad. I hope once the pandemic has receded another quilt shop might offer something similar. In addition to many great quilts made, I will miss meeting up with so many other talented quilters, chatting about quilting, show & tell and of course being in a fabric store. This one is really scrappy, but would look great in coordinated fabrics/colors. Thanks for looking :-)

I sympathize with you and the owners of your LQS. And I think your work and your quilt are beautiful. MY LQS is about 35 miles away, owned by another that's about 60 miles away that's larger. I hope they don't have to merge to stay in business.

Your quilt is so beautiful and light filled. You have done a great job. I too am saddened about the loss or you LQS. Covid is claiming so many small businesses.

Beautiful quilt! (I thought it was a Burgoyne Surrounded until I blew it up.) So sorry about your LQS, Ekuw. Maybe those same quilters will still be around when a new store opens. Hope so!

Very pretty quilt. Sorry so many businesses are being shut down because of this terrible covid.

Your quilt is beautiful. I am so sorry for the loss of your happy place. This covid is the worst in the country here in Arizona at this time. I don't even want to go out for milk and bread. I hope brighter days are ahead for you and all of us.

Great job on your quilt! Thank goodness we have the internet to keep us connected to other quilters at this time of no gatherings.

Your quilt is beautiful! I too am saddened by the closures of many of my favorite shops. Hopefully, the new year will bring better opportunities for small businesses to thrive.

That's a wonderful quilt!
So many closings- so much hardship for so many. I'm hoping better times are around the corner. I think I speak for all of us.
