    3 Quilts for grandchildren

The first was for my Giants football and Mets loving grandson. The material used was from the NFL. A lot of cutting to get the symbols. The orange stars are for the Mets.
The second was a birthday gift for a 5 year old grandson. The planes were separate pieces all sewn on individually.
The last one I just gave to my almost 12 year old granddaughter. This is the first time really doing some free form quilting.

Those were a lot of work very well done. Love the airplanes(flyers in family), but the last one is my ideal.

Wow! ALL three are beautiful!! I love the colors and the pattern for your 12 year old granddaughter. I wish I could put colors/fabrics together that way. The fabrics are so cheerful and bright, but together, you created a soothing quilt perfect for a pre-teen.

All are pretty but the plane one is amazing. All those details and perfectly done. Like the pattern of the third one. Very nice.

Each quilt is so fitting for the individual grandchild. I know each one will be so happy. I liked the pattern and colors you used on the granddaughter's. I have grandsons and granddaughters and your quilts have inspired me to get started. Thanks for sharing.

I love them all! So precise - where the strip with 'giants' on it is - it's so well placed! I really admire your work, each plane executed so well too! Your last quilt is simply gorgeous! I bet the grandchildren just love their quilts! Thank you for sharing your fabulous quilts.
