This was a origami stars pattern. All I did was stitch around the stars and border. This was paper pieced. I entered this in the Long Island fair 10/09 and I won second place! This has encouraged me to enter another one this year.

Nice touch with the decorative stitch on the binding. Did you use turkey tracks? I really like the effect. Great work --- you earned that ribbon!

I just zig zagged around the stars and the border I think it was a leaf vine. Thanks for your comments.

Congrat's !!!!!! I can see why it won. Love this pattern, colors and the feather stitching around the edges.
