This is what I worked on last weekend. I was getting tired of the Dresden Plate quilt and had to set it aside for a little while. Its just pinned on the closet door--needs to be sandwiched but it went together fairly quickly. I couldn't get the hang of piecing the stars so I appliqued them instead! LOL
Thank heavens for wonder under! :D

Thanks everyone for allthe nice comments. I think I will just do a meandering stitch over the whole thing. I am going to the Bernina store after work to check out the thread selection. I'd like to use soemthing neutral but not invisible thread if I can help it. Too ligh won't look good on the figures and too dark won't look well on the background. I will do stitch in the ditch on the borders and the meandering in the body of the quilt.
The stars were cut out as one piece and fused to the border. I tried piecing them, but that looked awful!
