It actually is quilted already in that I did a large meander... very large, thru the sky and on the purple wall below the window. I did stitch in the ditch around each cat. Now you have me looking at it again, and thinking perhaps I need to go back and add some more. Maybe in the window frame. I don't like heavy quilting but I could add some straight lines thru the "wood". I don't know what to do inside the cats, that's why I left them blank. I am a very rudimentary quilter and with fleece as the backing all it really needs is securing the layers.

Could you recognize that the calico cat is made from cat print fabric? Smiles and thank you... I struggled a bit on this one because that fabric was in my personal stash of cat prints I am saving up to make myself a quilt and I selfishly was reluctant to use it elsewhere. LOL, but design needs overcame self interest and I used it up.

I have a brother who would love to have that quilt!! When I look at the quilt, I find myself head-scratching about how you made it because the cats look like whole pieces. Which either means a lot of y-seams or I'm not seeing it right. Either way, very nicely done.

Definitely not whole pieces. There are lots of pieces but I tried to choose fabrics that it would not be glaringly noticeable. Guess it worked. LOL There are, however, a good many y-seams too. I made each cat as a unit as much as I could and pieced out the areas where they come together with overlapping of each one.
