Default 5 years later...

I finally finished this quilt! I started this for my oldest son when he was about 2 and worked on it until I was pregnant (and sick) with my next son and couldn't do it any more... I finally picked it up again a couple weeks ago and finished the top! So excited to get it quilted (though it intimidates the heck out of me, I'm going to try!) and give it to my middle son for his 4th birthday next month. (My oldest will be getting a Harry Potter quilt that's being done as a QAL this year for Christmas... he's more or less outgrown dinosaurs and loves Harry Potter.)

I am happy for you that you finished it. It is a very great quilt for a boy of that age. You did a very good job.

I WANT THAT QUILT! If you're son doesn't want it any more, I would be thrilled to have it.

However, I'm sure your son will want it and that it will become a treasured possession. Lucky boy!
