Nicky, I normally don't like to repeat myself but in this instance I would love to. BEAUTIFUL quilt. I am so glad you decided to share it with the rest of the board.

Thank you Florence. I can't wait to see yours!! I hope to go on another quilting journey with you, and Sue and the others. This has been a blast, and I feel I have made some friends here.

It looks like some new folks have seen it and want to start a new group. I hope they find as fine a group leader as we have.

Thank you so much for your service.

Nicky

Fantastic! Is this your first pp attempt? Either way it looks great. I also love your avatar photo. I'm fascinated by lighthouses.

Thank you for your kind words! In 2011 there was a Houses BOM and most of that was paper pieced. The BOM was twelve 12" x 12" blocks and then I paper pieced a whole lot more smaller blocks to complete the quilt. It is called "Gimme Shelter" and you can see it here, at the bottom of the page: http://www.quiltingboard.com/blocks-...170486-25.html

What perseverance and determination to finish your quilt. I love stars but they are so hard to make. Yours is beautiful!
