I have this pattern and the Thangles to make it. Mine was from Keepsake Quilting. I've bought very dark and very bright batiks to make it but haven't started yet. I don't look forward to making 650 of the same of anything but this is the quilt pattern of my dreams. I have so many different patterns/ways to make it but Thangles seemed to be the best for me, since I will never get around to trimming 650 of anything if I made it a different way! PS. It's still in the Keepsake catalog as both a kit with fabric and with just directions and Thangles.

I sewed all the thangles then sat and watched tv,cut them all. then watched another movie while ironing them all with papers on. Next day watched another movie and peeled papers off. when I sewed them , I chained pieced them. wasn't too bad. You can do it!
