My kid's babysitter was cleaning out her grandmother's house and called me to say she found a bunch of fabric. Did I want it or should she take it to goodwill? Heck yeah I want it!! Amongst the yardage of some really nice flannel and denim, I found this.

It is awesome in size, scope, and enthusiasm. I'd like to have a moment of silence for all the many pairs of bellbottoms that made the ultimate sacrifice for the sake of this project.

The polyester is so thick, I don't think I should even try batting. I think I should put a back on it and quilt it, and then donate it to someplace really really cold. It'll be too thick for Texas weather by far!
