If you quilt it, would she appreciate having it back? (I don't know her age or status, but I was thinking as graduation or wedding gift, or even Christmas gift "from Grandma".) What a wonderful find. It would also be good when the electricity goes out this winter or if one gets stuck in a snowbank.
