A royal pain in the tush!
I have only been a LA for a short time but I learned a long time ago never set an unrealistic dead line. I took a quilt from a lady that had to be done by July 1st but she needed to put the binding on so her niece could take it to the fair for her as she is going to be gone. My machine had a problem last week that needed repair and I got it taken care of but was out of commission for 2 days. So I have this lady's quilt on my machine when she calls and says she thought it would be done by last Friday, ( out of commission days). I told her it would be done this weekend and she commented on how long it would take to put the binding on as she does tiny stitches. Even I can put a King size binding on with tiny stitches in an evening watching TV. So I put over 40 hrs, 3,500 yards of stitches and tons of roses on this quilt. Now she called 2 more times. I have had little sleep and ready to be a bit nasty. So yesterday I took my husband with me to deliver it incase my mouth got in trouble. She was so pleasant and LOVED the quilt. Just go figure!!!!! I do not have a full picture of it but here is a small on with the stitches. Hope you can see it. Sorry I just needed to blow off steam. Thanks for listening and looking!!!!!!!!!

It is a beautiful batik quilt.

Hope you can see this good enough.

very pretty quilting! and you must be much better than me as it takes me forever to put on binding on a twin sized with normal sized stitching!

It's beautiful. Sometimes things happen that we can not control. Surely she understood that.
