finally, here's the casserole cover that I have made for my Mom's birthday - it's the pattern from Nancy's Notions site - next time I think I'll pass on the shiny silver stuff and use quilted fabric!

but I loved the cow fabric!

Great!

I used that same silver stuff to line Roman shade, with fabric front and back, and had trouble with it too. The casserole carrier may be just the thing to use up some of the scraps.

Patti, great job, very cute and a great idea. I guess you had to quilt the silver stuff yourself or did it come prequilted? You've got me interested in making one too. I don't know if I will try the silver stuff or like you said use quilted fabric.

Fantastic. What a clever and useful gift. We have a crock pot cover that came with it and we use it for transporting food to parties but it's not nearly as stylin' as this one!
