This quilt is named "Abbey's Family Tree." It is made for my 10 yr old niece, Abbey. I'm having family members sign their names on the tree in the center of the quilt...

This was made using a panel in the center, surrounded by One Block/Month Swap blocks. Thank you, everyone, who traded blocks with me. As you see, it made a stunning quilt.

The flying geese were made with Ricky Tim's 3D Flying Geese method, out of scrap fabric from the Boomerang Swap. Every other FG is black and white.

Really Nice! I've been thinking of making a family tree quilt for a long time . Can I ask where you found the tree pattern? I've come up with a few, but no real patterns out there . Figure I'm on my own.

This is not a "real" family tree, we're just going to sign our names along the trunk and branches. There is a better close up of the tree on Pg 5 of the Boomerang Swap. April is using it, too. (I copied.)

I got the panel from Hancocks of Paducah.

That turned out beautiful and I love the idea of having everyone sign it. I like how you put the blocks around the center and then did the flying geese. What a nice keepsake!
