    Default Happy First Anniversary Quilt

My friend asked me to make a California King-sized quilt to help her celebrater her son's first wedding anniversary. She wanted squares that celebrate each of their hobbies, sports events & occupations, plus some of their mutual interests. It was my idea to include the sampler that celebrates their wedding day. I embroidered 42 individual blocks that we framed up Attic Window style. We worked on it every day for 3 weeks and now it's finally pieced and we both love it! Thanks for looking!
