Cool Advancement to my 7° MUF-New friend: "Lady in Red"-Marked quilting Tip

Hello! I hope everyone is well!
I am very happy! I'm working on my MUF 7°: "Sewing Baskets". I was able to finish this top which was the 2009-2010.
And meanwhile, my birthday present came forward and became my new friend and companion of Adventures: A Janome Memorie Craft 7700 QCP Horizon!!!
It's beautiful! Called her "Lady in Red"! I love the Red!
I started to do the quilting marks, and came up with an idea they share.
A half heart template, I did some horizontal marks where I "saw" an arc. Those marks served me to always make the template always in the same place on the canvas. Then I followed the lines with a temporary marker, and appeared "arcs" that I wanted to do in the 9-Patch!
Hope you like this simple tip!
I have a lot of work ahead! Have a nice week!
    A big hug!

Beautiful quilt and thanks for the tip. I'll have to try that. It beats doing SID all the time. Red is awesome. Looks like you are having a lot of fun.

I'm green with envy, I have a Janome 6500 and want a Horizon, but I do not NEED it ... so pooh, I'll just have to continue loving my 6500 but she is overdue for some maintenance and I hate to part with her.

Your quilt is fabulous! And your quilting tip is wonderful, thanks for sharing

I love your embroidery. The colors you used go really well with the fabric, too. Happy birthday, I just had one too but I didn't get a lady in red in the mail...
