I have checked....but just couldn't decide what to do because of all the colors in the sues. I love some of the fabric I found, but it was also $9.50/yd! --- Do any of you know of a great reproduction print jelly roll? That would be perfect.

The sunbonnet sues are so adorable. What a good job you did embelishing them. I am having the same problem deciding on colors to go with an older design and older fabric. Just don't take away the beauty of the sues with an overwhelming color in the irish chain. Guess I am not a very good help. What a treasure you have!!

There are some reproduction jelly rolls on ebay. You might look there and see if they would work.

There is one on ebay I'm watching now....and found some others. Wouldn't it be great with a scrappy chain?

Have you considered using that sea foam green that was so popular during this time period? I don't think I'd like black with those beauties. It's too heavy/dark a color. Keep it light. (Just my preference!)

That's real close. My quilt store has all sorts of reproduction solids and there are a couple of different greens that always look great. Here's what I was thinking of. I used it in the little flange and for the binding on this 9 patch quilt. You can see how it just goes with everything.
