Rox and Ann Clare, love the colors. Beautiful blocks.

I am happy to report that the scrolls seemed easier on this block than the last one I did(17?). I still did a consolidated version, but I am actually satisfied with this one for a change, lol.

Beautiful block Elle. Whatever works. I'm about to pull my hair out with this one and I don't have any hair to spare.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for creating the extra circles where all those little points meet. I love it and I am going to add them to my block. I wasn't happy with my block and I was thinking about redoing it. You have saved me hours of work and grief.

I had to go back and look....... What a great idea.

Good alternatives from both Ann Clare and Candi.

Thanks all for the kind comments. It does seem to be getting easier,or maybe I am becoming less critical...either way, I am truly enjoying these blocks.

This is my block #20 at last. Most of the fabric was bought over the 7/4 weekend in Dunedin.

Okay, here is my "almost" completed block! I'm going to have to add little circles (or something) to the areas where the light blue scrolls meet the "swooping" pieces. They just didn't meet up -- or under!!! I have looked at Aie's block, and her pieces at the tips are a bit fatter than they are on the patterns. The pattern pieces narrow down to almost nothing. Hmmmm.......time for me to change???

The outer hearts are two shades of blue. The light blue almost looks a bit lavender in the picture. The center flower is blue, too.

Looks darn good to me Patty! You can always use the circles as camo if it bothers you...it looks great to me! It is showing up on my monitor as anything but the colors you said
