Wow, Elle, your scrolls are super. I'm still having trouble with them. Have spent the past two nights watching applique videos. Hopefully something will sink in and mine will get better with practice because I haven't been happy with the ones I've done.

I donīt know if it will help, but I basted my fabric around pattern first then needleturned them into place. They are not the easiest pieces to do because they have tight corners, you just have to sew little tiny stitches to hold them in place just like Lesley said

Elle, I think yours looks fabulous! Thats what I'm working on right now. I just did a scroll and got to the back side and didn't have any fabric to turn under....GRRRRR....so off it will come to start over.. I love your fabric choices on this one...YUMMY!!

Oh Patti, I did that more than once with this one. Trouble is there is a tight corner on one of the scrolls. I ended up basting it round my pattern piece, made the job a bit easier. If all else fails baste the devil.
