Love your colours Losie. I'm not looking forward to this block at all.

Great fabrics!!! They have so much "texture" to them!!! I haven't made this block yet, and I can already tell it's going to be a challenge! You did a great job!!!! :thumbup: :thumbup:

Losie, I, too, am finding those points a little frustrating! I guess as we make one block after another, we will get pretty good at them, huh?

This is my next block. I've picked out my fabrics and now just need to cut out my pieces. I'm really NOT looking forward to making this one!! Those skinny tips just don't want to cooperate! :evil: Once again, I'll need to put on my big girl panties and get to work!!! :lol: :lol: :lol:

Have been auditioning hunks for all the different positions that will be needed for all of us! We had been having trouble finding the proper hairdresser. Elle got us some pics of some really good lookers! 'Twas such good fun! Hey, all out there, did we ever decide if it was going to be land based or the world's largest cruise ship?

For the cruise ship: can visit round the world.
Against - might end up in tethered in port if fuel prices keep going higher and higher (and no gardens or gardeners, and hunks feature big time)

Against the cruise ship - having to settle in one spot, and which one?

Now you have posed a question. i believe there is alrady a cruise ship catering for the older population, It anchored in Malaga no so long ago, first time I had heard about it. I like the idea, instead of a man in every port perhaps we could have a home in several and just potter around the world stopping of to have a long vacation on land.

With a stopover in Australia. :thumbup:

Deecee, I am planning a cruise to Australia and New Zealand this Nov-Dec. We will fly into Sydney so you will have to put up a really tall flag so I can find you. I hadn't thought about quilt shops in Aus & NZ, duh! I must be brain dead because that is usually the first place i head. :thumbup: :thumbup:

But I will have to try and find a REALLY REALLY tall flag 'cos I'm in Victoria and Sydney is in New South Wales.

We have beautiful LQS but the prices will knock you over.

I forgot about the exchange rate. The American dollar is going lower and lower. Maybe I can buy a few fat quarters.

At present there is only a matter of cents difference in the exchange rate but prices at our LQS average around $A25 per metre.

um...I still vote, land, and have a couple dingies for those that want to see the world! I'm too small to stay in a life preserver.
