here is my block 27, nearing the first 16 centre blocks I now have to find a suitable fabric for the border, not that easy here in Ireland.

Flossy, here's hoping you have the luck I did in that my fabric sisn't speak to me, it screamed for me to take it home. I had already had the clerk cut a 1 1/2 yard piece of a lovely aqua that I was settling on. Went back to look one more tme at the batiks & there it was - kinda like the mandrakes in Harry Potter, screaming. I bought 3 yards of it!!!

Your blocks are all so lovely. Love the center fabric - red/orange/yellow one!

Thank you all for your coments, I looked back at the blocks already done and they are all so lovely, it is going to look stunning when finished. I have seen Lesley's it is fabulous.Finding fabric for the border is another storey, I am off to the largest fabric store in Irelaand so hopefully they will have something suitable,I have decided if I can't get something there I will continue making blocks until I go to England and find it there.As you say Kathy I hope something jumps out at me.
