    African Shweshe fabric

Found this fabric from a vendor at quilt show. She previously owned a shop in South Africa and brought her stash with her, my lucky day. I have made zippered makeup bags that are done in the hoop on my embroidery machine. Fully lined with no exposed seams. They have ended up being great gifts.

Those fabrics are beautiful. The pouches you made from them are even more striking.

I have made a couple of those bags, and I'm glad you reminded me of it because it's time to make more as gifts. They look wonderful in your African fabric.
