Not at all....just give it a tug once in awhile and there's no problem.

When doing binding I wrap around my fingers leaving the center large enough to slip my hand through. Then place on my left wrist and start sewing. It stays out of the way and feeds off easily. Started doing this when I got tired of it being run over by my sewing chair. lol

Yep, works great. I use a plastic bag (when I can find it).

I keep the cover from my machine on the floor along side my machine and just drop the binding in there. It feeds out as I need it.
