For all of the group that is 'over the pond' - what is a 'Red Hatter??' - I presume it is group of some sort, can someone explain please lol!!

BEAUTIFUL QUILT - I love the bow and ribbon effect, it really sets it off, great colour choices too!!!

A "Red Hatter" is a woman over a certain age I believe - about 45 maybe. There are groups of Red Hatters that meet and go out to dinner and do projects. But to be a red hatter - you just have to meet the age qualifications, not necessary to be in any formal group. This is my understanding of it anyway. I was called a Red Hatter once cuz I wore a red and purple felted hat. However, I just love the hat, and don't really want to be called a Red Hatter!

Red Hat Society is for women over 50.
Pink Hat Society is for women under 50, but usually for those that are over 40, then they graduate to Red Hat at 50.
Here's a link for you....

The quilt is as much fun to look at as the Red Hatter group is to be around. Your sister will love it and recognize each block. You did a great job!
