Wonderful interpretation of this quilt pattern. It is beautiful in every respect. I really appreciate personal interpretation of generic patterns. To make it just like the picture on the package is great on one hand but being able to go beyond takes your quilt making to a new level.

That is a beautiful quilt. Congratulations to your family on their graduations.
I am just finishing up a fictional book by Tracie Peterson (Yukon Quest series) which is somewhat about the Tlingits.

Good for you and for them! The quilt has so many symbols that reflect their accomplishments. I know they will treasure this!
