I made this for my niece Allie when she wa about 7 years old. I had just started quilting and I really had no clue about following a pattern. I just cut and pieced fabrics until the blocks were about the same size and then sewed them together. She knew no better so she loved it. Then I decorated a couple of pillow cases and found a couple of girlie dolls that seemed to match and it was done. She loved it. She still has it but now she is a teenager who needs a new one.

Wow! You certainly started your quilting career with some great quilts! None of them look like beginner works.

That is really awesome, but agree that its time to update. Hopefully, she will keep the 1st for her children. You should teach her how to store the quilt properly when she gets the new one.

LOL That's still quilting...you knew more than you thought you did. It's a really nice quilt and I'm sure it has been loved a lot. I have a couple of DGD who would love one like that.

Nicely done, and even nicer that it is completely unique!
